Expedition Paddling Down The Desolate South Fork Flathead River

In the beginning of October 2015 Gabriel Gray along with Jackson Berger and Casey Shedd packed via horseback with all inflatable SUPs and began the journey of a lifetime. The trip was completely off grid, without any reception, full of crazy adventure, and a test of grit and endurance due to unexpected water levels. Here, Gabriel Gray recounts his Supconnect Polls winning Journey for his adventure down the South Fork Flathead River in Montana.

Crazy Or Courageous: Man Attempting To Cross The Atlantic On A SUP

In January 2016 Nicolas Jarossay, a 38 year-old French paddler, will be making an attempt to be the first person to cross the Atlantic Ocean, solo and unsupported, on a stand up paddle board. Jarossay plans to paddle over 2,500 miles (4500 kms)over two to three months, from Cape Verde to Martinique.

Surf4Smile Introduces SUP To Madagascar

In August 2015, Starboard team athlete Benoit Carpentier along with the organization Surf4smile created by his brother Mathieu, his sister Alix and a few friends, went on a 10-day mission to Madagascar to meet one community of surfers on the east coast of the island. A main part of their mission was to conduct free screening tests (hepatitis, malaria, HIV and syphilis) and health care for the local population.
