The Catalyst is a non-inflatable board and uses Surftech’s Tuflite V-Tech construction making it nice and durable. The board is fairly lightweight for its size at 25.5 lbs and is easy to carry. Best suited for paddling short to mid-range distances, the Catalyst is a great all around board that can be used as something to learn on, something to go for a quick surf on and go for some adventures along the coast. Who is this for: The Cocomat Cruise is best suited for paddlers looking to get an beginner-friendly all around board with an eco-friendly angle. Offered in four different sizes (9’8”, 10’2”, 11’, 11’6”) the Cocomat Cruise is nice and stable, allowing for paddlers of all ages and skill levels the chance to have fun. The board utilizes NSP’s Cocomat construction which gives the board a good durability, but it also is an environment-friendly material. The board is also pretty lightweight, weighing just over 20lbs. As an all around board, the Cocomat Cruise is best suited for short distance paddling around the shore but can also be used for catching some waves. Starting at $1,325, the Cocomat Cruise sits in the mid-level price point.

About the board:The NSP Elements Allrounder is exactly what it sets out to do, to be the all around board that works for the entire family. BIC Performer Tough

About the board:The BIC Performer Tough Tec is the beater in the BIC line. It’s built a bit heavier than the usual paddle board but is intended to take a beating. So if you’re looking for a board that the entire family can use where you can have a complete piece of mind when it comes to durability and an all-around shape that can be in the surf, with primarily flat-water use, and sticking close to the shoreline, then this is your board. The BIC Performer Tough Tec is at a great price point and for 2019 features new colors with a blue base and orange accent colors which adds nice graphics to what has typically been just a white board, making it a bit more lively. Pelican Antigua

About the board: The Antigua is a beginner, inflatable board, offered at some of the lowest price-points in the market, but packing lots of value with beautiful graphics, a nice pump, and an all-around great package. It naturally misses some of the features of intermediate, advanced boards, such as faster glide, reinforced rails, and a more premium bag. About the board: The Shubu Kraken is the inflatable version of the Supconnect award-winning Boardworks Kraken. This one is on the top of the charts when it comes to inflatable paddle boards. As far as graphics go it’s just gorgeous. It's a very lightweight board weighing in at about 20lbs making it incredibly easy to carry for both men and women. At a price point under $1,000 you couldn’t go wrong with this board. It’s super fun to paddle, has a great glide, and is really stable without compromising the glide feeling. SIC Maui Feel Good

About the board:If you want to ‘feel good’ about the board you own then the Feel Good from SIC Maui is a great choice. The board looks stunning and has a really beautiful coordination of graphics, from the traction pad to the color on the back rails and bottom. It’s a really nice all around board that can also be used for surfing. The board paddles really well and is quite easy to carry using SIC’s signature EZ grab handle. If you want something that you want to use to cruise short distances and dabble in the surf and look good for your friends this is something that you should look very closely at and consider having in your quiver. About the board:At $499 it’s tough to beat this deal. The Pelican Saona is a paddle board with a foam construction and has classy graphics, better than any foam board that we’ve seen on the market. It paddles fairly well and with its foamy construction it can definitely take a beating both in and out of the water. If you’re looking for something that won’t cost you a lot, and can be used by the entire family this is something that you should be looking at. About the board:The Cocomat Allrounder from NSP is a great board for SUP surf beginners who might also want to try to do some flat water or touring. While the board is dubbed the ‘Allrounder’ it’s definitely more of a surf shape and is a great, beautiful board for someone who is looking to get into SUP surfing. It will definitely work well as an all around board as well as the board is wide and stable. The graphics on the board are really eye catching with the bright blue colors mixed in with their eco-friendly Cocomat material and the contrast with the lighter blue on the traction pad looks awesome.Read more HERE.

About the board:The Waterkids Natural strikes an incredible balance between a board meant for kids and also one that adults can use. As a kids board, it is highly stable and easy to handle, allowing them to carry it from the car to the waterline without any help. For adults, we were really impressed to step on the board and be able to paddle it around no problem. Both children and parents alike can have an incredible time on the Natural. The board fit our young paddler really well and wasn't too wide. It was just the perfect width for him to get the blades in the water. Read more HERE.
