SUP Instructor Set to Paddle 250 Miles for Charity

This summer will see extreme sports enthusiastic and SUP Instructor Sam Robison take on coastal challenge around Cornwall. Sam along with this stand-up paddleboard and supplies for the adventure, will be paddling from Bude to Plymouth, following the Cornish coastline all the way.

The World's Straightest 6Km SUP Race

The most fascinating race in Greece for 2016, the Corinth Canal Paddle Crossing on October 30th, was a huge blast. This year aside from the 163 SUPs that crossed the Canal for the 6th Hellenic SUP CUP, organizers in cooperation with Hellenic Canoe-Kayak & SUP federation, invited athletes from all sports that H.C-K.F. represents (canoe, kayak, surf-ski, SUP) to join and the outcome was a BIG success.

SUPing The Land Of The Midnight Sun

No sooner than our car entered the driveway, and I was already drooling over the land of liquid we were encased in. We unloaded our suitcases and our bladders and I looked at Mary and said, “24 hours of traveling and two hours of sleep total…you got enough energy for a paddle?” She giggled and we got back in the car and headed for the cold waters of the Norwegian Fjord nearby. It was the beginning of what was to be a well traveled Northern European SUP adventure.

Excitement Builds For 6th Annual Corinth Canal Paddle Crossing

The most fascinating race of the year, the Corinth Canal Paddle Crossing is about to start. On Sunday, October 30th 2016, the naval traffic of the canal will be stopped for over 200 Stand Up Paddlers, Canoers and Kayakers to compete at the "straightest race" of the world.

Paddler Attempting To Cross English Channel Rescued At Sea

For reasons unknown, a German Paddler was attempting to cross the English Channel with the intent of arriving in the United Kingdom when he was spotted by a diving boat about halfway through the channel. The diving boat then reached out to the UK Boarder Force who later arrived and took him aboard their ship.

Casper Steinfath On SUP Surfing In Denmark

Professional stand up paddler Casper Steinfath hails from the European country of Denmark and has always been proud to say so. Steinfath has been outward with the fact for years that Denmark is an epic place to stand up paddle and surf and one of his dreams finally came true this year when the ISA (International Surfing Association) announced that Denmark would host the 2017 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championships.

Paddlers Set To Take On 240km Stand Up Paddle Challenge

An international team of four men and one woman (including two Algarvians) is paddling down the Spanish Border across Northern Portugal to Porto on stand up paddle boards. They will cross through the beautiful Douro Valley which has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status.

Adventurers Stand Up Paddle Board Through The Heart Of Sweden In World First

On August 4th, Australian adventure athlete, Tarran Kent-Hume crossed the finish line in Stockholm with his team of 5 Stand Up Paddle Boarders. The adventure is a 700km paddle from Gothenburg to Stockholm via the Gota Canal and Baltic Sea. As well as being a world first it’s one of the toughest SUP events out there.
