Who is this for:The NSP Cocomat Performance Touring is the ultimate board for a heavy guy or big gal. It’s incredibly stable with the traction pad making it feel very comfortable on the feet. It has some lips towards the rails, that really sort of tuck you in inside of the deck. There’s lots of accessories with bungees on the nose and tail and the flat rocker makes it a real pleasure to paddle. If you are heavy weight and looking for something that will float you without hesitation, maybe put your kids on it, or go for a long touring expedition, this is the board. About the board: Yes, yes, yes! The Pau Hana Endurance is super fun. It’s very stable and is a great board for many uses. The Endurance can be great for touring, racing and all around family fun, making this board incredibly versatile. It’s also offered in Pau Hana’s Ricochet technology which makes the board virtually indestructible, which if you ask us is a huge plus. It has a beautiful finish and is arguably the most durable board around, which is a hard combo to come by. Who is this for:If you’re looking for a race board that can do more than racing then this is the board for you. The board is very lightweight yet it floats you incredibly well and has a great glide. If you’re not in a race and you’re not training and you want to put your kids, dog or accessories on the board it can easily transfer into a touring or expedition board with the right width. Who is this for: If you’re looking for an very stable, non-inflatable, all-around board to paddle short distances and in the low price point of under $500, then the Flow from Pelican is worth looking at. This stand up paddle (SUP) board comes in the extremely durable RAM-X™ construction and has both positives and negatives. The board comes in three different sizes, all of which are incredibly stable. Its construction is highly durable, however, the board is very heavy and very difficult to carry. Its shape makes the Flow an all-around board that can be used by anyone and is designed primarily for recreation. Its construction and shape combined best fit this board for short distance paddling, around the beach and dock. Starting at $299, the board is among the most affordable ones you can find. This stand up paddle (SUP) board comes in the Carbon Vector Net construction which is meant to be lightweight and durable. The Verve has both positives and negatives to note. Due to its width of 28 inches the board is stable but is not intended for beginner paddlers. Its construction comes in at an average weight of 2.65 lbs per foot, weighing a total of 29.1 lbs. Its shape makes the Verve great for touring or race training that can be used by intermediate paddlers for both recreation and competitive paddling. Its construction and shape combined best fit this board for long-range distances from 3 to 10 miles plus.
