Standup for the Cure (SUFTC) kicks off its sixth year of fundraising with its flagship event Saturday, May 6 from 9:00am-3:00pm at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, California. Over 1,000 participants are anticipated to come show their support of the Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.
Standup for the Cure’s Sixth Annual fundraising event and one of the largest paddle competitions in the world, is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 9am at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, California.
Over the years Standup for the Cure has become one of the biggest charity events in the stand up paddle community raising money and awareness for early Breast Cancer detection while growing our incredible sport. In 2017 there will be three dates and locations where Standup for the Cure will take place.
After five successful years, Standup for the Cure, alongside its national sponsor, Ambry Genetics, announce Standup for the Cure, Atlanta to benefit Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.
The second Annual Standup for the Cure, Muskegon, hit the beach of Harbor Towne on Saturday morning to help continue the fight against breast cancer. The standup paddle board event is organized to help support the local affiliate of Susan G. Komen, a foundation dedicated to breast cancer research. Support was strong with 540 registered paddlers getting into gear for the 5K race on Muskegon Lake.
Standup for the Cure’s Fifth Annual fundraising event and one of the largest paddle competitions in the world, is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 9am at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, California.
On Saturday November 2nd, Miami Beach residents witnessed the 3rd Standup for the Cure event of 2015. Our celebration of Life! Once again a crowd of around 300 came together to raise funds and awareness for early Breast Cancer Detection, research, treatment and education while enjoying a day of Standup Paddling, Live Music and great food and drink.
After three successful years, Standup for the Cure, alongside its national sponsor, Ambry Genetics, and presenting sponsor, Riviera Paddlesurf announce Standup for the Cure Miami to benefit the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.
On Friday September 12th, 2014, the inaugural Standup for the Cure UK Event in London was held with great success.
On Saturday, May 4, 2013 Standup for the Cure will hold its second annual fundraising event at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, California to support the Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®– every $125 raised will potentially save alife by enabling a mammogram.
