NLand Surf Park will open Friday, October 7, 2016. NLand, North America’s first surf park, offers world-class surfing in the heart of Texas Hill Country.

Steadily climbing in the SUP Racer World Rankings, ninth-place April Zilg will defend her championship on home surf in Wrightsville Beach at the 2016 Surf to Sound Challenge, Nov. 4-6.

Surftech announced today that it has signed all-around water warrior, Brennan Rose to their global team. Brennan is as diverse as any athlete on the water being equally at home on a 14’ race SUP as he is on a 5’10” shortboard, making him a perfect fit for the Surftech family. When he’s not surfing or paddling, you’ll find Brennan cooking, training, freediving, bodysurfing or fishing.

As an official stop in the 2016 Stand Up World Series, Red Bull Heavy Water has started the holding period as of September 1st. The holding period will guarantee 40 of the world’s best SUP athletes waves over 10ft. on an open course that stretches 12km (7.5 miles), starting at Ocean Beach and finishing just past the Golden Gate Bridge.

In just a couple months time the ISA (International Surfing Association) will gather the world’s best SUP and Paddleboard athletes in Fiji from November 12-20 for the 2016 Fiji ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship! Watch here as the first official promo video for the 2016 event in Fiji has been released!

He may only be 12-years-old but Maui’s Finn Spencer is already shredding up a storm in the lineups around Maui. Finn just released a new edit of his recent stand up paddle (SUP) surfing adventures this summer and he’s surfing so well! He’s even picked up on the hydrofoil craze! The International Surfing Association (ISA) has today announced that the 2017 ISA World StandUp Paddle (SUP) and Paddleboard Championship will be held in Denmark in September 2017, with the specific dates to be confirmed in the near future.
