Just when you thought the Swiss season was over, it has just begun.  The Association Swiss Stand Up Paddle (ASSUP) has been working on a new concept and invites you to participate in a 140 day Open Wave competition format!

The Sup Grom of the Year Final has only 10 days left!  Currently Christopher Bluthardt is leading the pack with 120 votes and Dylan Frick is close behind with 105 votes, but the title could still be won by just about any one of the finalists!

In 2010 Supconnect began the very first stand up paddle awards to recognize those who contributed the most and performed at the highest levels in the sport. ·This year marks the third annual Supconnect Awards and the motivation behind them remains the same.

Sean Poynter (Starboard) from the USA stormed to victory yesterday here at the Sapinus Pro presented by Air Tahiti Nui to secure his first win on Tour and place him comfortably on top of the world after round 3 of the 2012 Stand Up World Tour.  

Since the World Tour's first visit to Tahiti in 2009 for the Stand Up World Tour Contenders, Tahiti has become firmly entrenched at the heart of the Stand Up World Tour with some of the most groundbreaking action ever witnessed in the sport.
