All of us in the Lahui Kai family would like to congratulate Annabel Anderson and Kelly Margetts on their amazing finishes at this year’s Carolina Cup. The grueling 13.2 mile, 2+ hour long paddle board race took our very own Annabel Anderson to yet another 1st place victory, securing that title again for the 4th year in a row! This girl can’t be stopped. Kelly battled hard with the world’s best paddlers and took home a strong 5th place!

The proven design/development team of Brian Szymanski and John Becker joined Lahui Kai in May of 2014 and have never looked back. Annabel Anderson, the #1 Pro woman paddler in the world, who worked closely with Brian and John in the past, came onboard in 2015. Shark Shield has successfully completed the development of a new shark deterrent for surfers that was part funded by the Western Australian Government’s Applied Research Program (ARP). The company was provided with a $300K grant over 2.5 years to develop new technology to protect surfers following a spate of shark attacks in 2012. As a result the new Freedom + Surf is available for pre-order today.
