The world’s top young standup paddle athletes are coming to Huntington Beach, California for the sport’s most prestigious youth event. With seven divisions of age group surf racing, seven divisions of age group sup surfing, and the Junior Pro Invitation sup surfing contest, it is going to be an action packed day of competition.
In recent years many schools across the United States have been adding specialized physical education courses (PE) that directly involve water sports. One of the more popular courses being offered along the coasts have been surf PE and in Dana Point, California high school teacher Rick Stinson has started the first SUP High School PE class.

Getting sick of the weekly grind it was time to set off on another stand up paddle board adventure. This time we brought along the wives, girlfriends and kids. The Salt Games presented by Native Sons is scheduled for Saturday, May 30th and Sunday May 31st, 2015 at the old Pavilion Site on Ocean Boulevard between 8th and 9th Avenue N. Events will run Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free to attend; some events require a registration fee to compete.
